Covid-19 Update It has been a tumultuous few weeks as global markets have reacted to the spread of the corona virus. Equity markets are generally down over 30% but gyrating as much as 10% in a day. Government bonds have risen is value, so portfolios of mixed assets have not fallen as much.
Most investors will be wondering what they should do, and our advice is to sit tight. The speed and extent of these falls has been dramatic but once position is clearer, the recovery in equity markets could be just as swift.
